ONE DTS is a fourteen month program that combines Youth With A Mission’s worldwide Discipleship Training School (DTS) with a local church mentorship and community focus.
The summer to summer program offers the 11 week lecture phase of the DTS during summer break. During this time students are challenged by incredible teaching and intimate times of worship. Lecture phase is a unique opportunity to develop an intimate relationship with God, shape life-vision, and grow in close community with others.
Following the lecture phase, students participate in a local church mentorship while continuing in their college studies or employment. During this school-year phase, students live out what they have learned in the context of “real life” and are actively involved in serving and reaching out to their local community. Students continue in close relationship and support with others from the DTS through ongoing community and times of prayer and worship.
The following summer is the outreach phase. Students are sent out to the ends of the earth to meet unreached and unevangelized people, carrying the good news of the Kingdom of God. While encountering peoples and cultures on outreach, students have the opportunity to see God move in amazing ways and gain a deeper heart for the nations.
ONE DTS connects this generation with a vision for local ministry and for the nations, equipping the body of Christ. One DTS --- One Year, One Body, One Globe, One Call!
